The health benefits of Fresh Orange Juice

Vitamin C in fruits including Orange is naturally proven able to protect us from cancer. An epidemiological research revealed that high consumption of vegetables and fruits, including Orange, will allow us to have a better protection from cancer than vitamin C consumption from tablets or other supplements. Rich in Folic Acid Aside from being a good source of vitamin C, Orange also is an important source of Folic acid. One orange fruit can supply 20% of our daily needs on Folic acid. High consumption level of food with high Folic acid content such as fresh Orange or Orange juice will increase the folic level in the body. The increase of folic level will decrease the toxic homocystein level. The decrease of homocystein level will also reduce the risk of getting a heart attack. Juice is the Most Ideal Product The most ideal way to get the whole benefits of Orange is in the form of Orange juice. This is supported by high water content in Orange (70-92%), and also balanced with high content of vitamins, minerals, fiber, fructose, organic acid, and phytochemical compound. In the form of juice, the health benefits of fresh orange can be enjoyed every time regardless of the fruit season.
