Language Corrects Itself

It has been suggested by some linguists who are interested in langauge development or language change that English changes to be more symmetrical What do we mean by this?
Language is on its way to regulate what is irregular. Reading in the history of English verbal system for example shows us that most verbs in the past used to be from the irregular type . Most of these are now regularized
The verb ask used to be irregular and it's regular asked
What makes language move to regularity or symmetry is 1-illetrate people and children who are ignorant to rules of the language , so they tend to generlize

English is a system and this system tries always to be systemized i.e it changes to be more and more symmetrical. English in its old age used to have two short vowel sounds and three long ones. Two to three this is not symmetrical , that's why English creates another short vowel to make them three to three.

As I said in my topic , there is another motif of change in language which is what illitrate and children do . They for example ,because of thier ignorance and lack of linguistic knowledge, pluralize all nouns the same way by adding s or es to the end of the word.
They have no idea that there are irregular nouns . That's why we have now nouns like moneys , teas, coffee, fishes, mens, mices ........ etc. which have irregular plural forms.
